MLB
News and Tidbits.
If this news doesn't
make you want to develop a nasty changeup, I don't
know what will.
Johann Santana of the
Minnesota Twins just signed a 4 year $40 million
contract. Ten Million per year on average.
Why? Well, look at
his success. I would imagine if you ask the hitters
that have to face him why, they would say, nasty
changeup.
In other news, Ken
Griffey Jr. is reporting early to Spring Training.
I suspect he knows
he's getting older and needs to be in better shape.
I think that has been the knock on Griffey, his work
ethic in the gym.
Maybe he has started
to figure it out. Let's hope so. He's a great
baseball talent.
Lesson for today,
make sure you are the most prepared on the field and
in the gym. Also, for you pitchers, it may be worth
developing a nasty change. Worth it to the tune of
about 40 million bucks!
Keep working hard!
