How Often Should I Do My Pitching Drills?

Max, I'm very glad to hear that you have watched the DVDs and they are working the program. My goal is to get a companion manual published this summer to help plan the workouts, both in-season and off-season. This email should help give you some insight on how to use the program in-season.

In-season, it is time to maintain what we have gained over the off-season in both strength and mechanics. The goal is to stay sharp and enhance your timing mechanism (a great drill for timing is pitching drill 3 in the DVD.)

I Confess! I Ate Way Too Much this Thanksgiving Weekend.

Boy, did I pig out. I certainly did not hold back. I feel like I went on a two-week Caribbean Cruise and gained 25 pounds. You would have thought it was my last opportunity to eat. But I imagine I’m not the only one that feels like that this Thanksgiving weekend.

I bet a few of you did the same.

No problem. Don't get yourself down with the overeating. Just get back on track.

Now's a time to re-focus.

I know I am. I'm not waiting for a New Year's resolution. I'm getting on my fitness goals right now.

It's time you do the same.

Baseball season will fast approach. If you are waiting, your competition is not.

In coming days I'll be sharing with you my plan on better fitness.

Until then, get re-focused and set some goals for the next couple of months.
