A Follow Up to the Left-Handed Baseball Bat

I have to tell you, I got a lot of interesting response to my April Fools email a couple of days ago.

The next day after my email, I attended my son's high school baseball game. I was surprised how many of the parents on the team receive our emails. Several approached me and said they enjoyed the story, and many bought the April Fools joke hook, line, and sinker. But, they had fun with it too.

I would say the funniest response I got was from my friend Jerry. He received my email as did a couple of his co-workers. His co-workers didn't get the email directly from me, but through folks like you. He said one of the folks at his company was fooled big-time on this one. Imagine that, a person who works for a bat manufacturer believed there was a left-handed bat. Maybe all those years of innovation in the bat industry, he believed it could happen….maybe it can and will some day.

For the BioForce family member that actually got upset at me, called me a couple of choice words and was very descriptive of me, and wanted to be removed from our list, I'm sorry you took the tongue and cheek story personally. Just trying to have some fun dude. Lighten up. It wasn't about you…..or maybe it was about you.

What did I learn from this joke? That most of you do like to read stories. It makes learning a lot more interesting. It also told me that many of you do read our emails. That's very reassuring. I do want you to know that the story about this game was true….except for the bat of course. The game we had on Wednesday against the same team, well, we didn't fare that well. Lost 8 to zip. The third and decisive game is scheduled at our field this afternoon. Been raining a little this morning. Hope we get the game in.

The other thing I learned, from my great friend Jerry, is that there is an advantage to wrapping the grips differently for left-handed hitters because of the torque put onto the grip. Interesting.

As for the April Fools sale…it's still going for a few more hours. Until 9 pm (pst) this evening. About 11 hours left to save 20% on anything we sell on the site. Jump on the opportunity before it's gone in a few more hours.

Be sure to type in the word "fools" upon checkout in the coupon box. If you don't type that in, the shopping cart won't calculate your discount.

And I want to thank all of you for forwarding my emails on to others. We've had a lot of new traffic from your spreading the word about BioForce. Thank you very much.

So, until next time….

Train Like a Champion!
