Begin the
Year with the End in Mind!
Most of us have
either tried or thought about New Year's
Resolutions. I'm not too big on resolutions, but I
am big on goal setting.
Goal setting is
simply setting a target for what you want to
accomplish.
The New Year is a
great oppotunity to look ahead on what you want to
accomplish this year.
We wouldn't just get
in the car and start driving on vacation, wondering
aimlessly until we found some place to go. We would
pick a destination (goal) and then chart the course
(plan)
Why not plan your
baseball career? What do you want to accomplish this
year? What's it going to take? Work backwards on how
you'll exceed that target.
