Did you
watch the US Open for Golf?
Unbelievable. That
course was so tough, even the best in the world
could not shoot below par.
If you follow golf at
all, the US Open is usually one of the toughest
tournaments in the world. They usually set up the
course to be very difficult to separate the men from
the boys. The greens are rock hard, the ball often
rolling off of the green. The rough on the side of
the fairways is very thick making it difficult to to
advance the ball.
It's not much
different than some of the fields you play on or
game situations.
Not all of us can
pitch on mounds that are perfect. Umpires never have
the same strike zone and the weather is always
different.
Why is it that a lot
of us get frustrated, whine and complain and blame
others or the field for our failures?
Because we need to
learn as humans and ball players to take
responsibility for our own actions. Yes the mound
had poor footing. The batter's box was a sand pit,
but it is the same for all the players. Learn to
adjust and adapt. You'll be happier and more
successful when you do.
Our Summer College
pitching program and our Fall Elite Pitching program
addresses how to handle these situations to be a
better person as well as a better ballplayer.

Keep on working hard
and kickin rear!
